The idea for this song was inspired from the opening section of Ian Gillan's {the ballad of) The Lucitania Express. This song can never touch the greatness of that amazing piece of work from Gillan, and we're not sure where the similarities, if any, lie in Skullview (warrior), but without the The Lucitania Express...this song would never have been conjured.
lyrics
ENRAGED WITH A VENGEANCE
METAL GOD FROM THE HEAVEN'S HAS CALLED
METAL KNIGHTS IN BLACK ARMOR
YOU KNOW THERE IS HONOR IN WAR
YOU FIGHT THROUGH THE FIELDS
WITH YOUR SWORD AND YOUR SHIELD
CHOSEN WARRIOR
WITH THE BLOOD ON YOUR BLADE
YOU WILL STRIKE WITH A PASSION FOR VENGEANCE
SKULLVIEW WARRIOR
FIGHTING FOR THOSE WHO BELIEVE
FIST RAISE UP HIGH POINT THE SIGN TO SKY
FIRE THE SIGN
i'M PREACHING THE WORD
METAL CHANTS CAN BE HEARD
FROM THE GODS
SKULLVIEW WARRIOR
FIGHTING FOR THOSE WHO BELIEVE
YOU'LL NEVER KNOW UNTIL IT'S TIME
IT'S TIME TO KISS YOUR LIFE GOODBYE
YOU'LL KNOW UNTIL IT'S WON
THE BATTLE HAS JUST BEGUN
YOU POINT THE SWORD UP TO THE SUN
YOU'LL RIDE THE LIGHT AND THEN YOU'LL SEE
METAL IS THE PROPHECY
I'VE HEARD IT BEFORE AND i'LL SAY IT AGAIN
YOU'LL NEVER KNOW UNTIL THE DYING END
YOU'LL NEVER KNOW UNTIL YOU DIE
IT'S TIME TO KISS YOUR LIFE GOODBYE
YOU SEE THE PAIN, IT'S IN YOUR EYES
YOU POINT THE SWORD UP TO THE SKY
ENRAGED WITH A VENGEANCE
METAL GODS FROM THE HEAVEN HAVE CALLED
METAL KNIGHTS IN BLACK ARMOR
YOU KNOW THERE IS HONOR IN WAR

My favorite material from Solstice! Despite their amazing discography that lay before this that completely set the foundation, this in my opinion is where it all comes to a mighty peak. What an amazing emotional and powerful picture painted in such a short amount of time. Talon Sullivan

If Elric had a soundtrack it would be this. It's everything you want from a epic metal album. Like a hot poker in the eye, but in a good way. Scott Malthouse
